Day 1
Arrival at the airport. You will be met by our representative. Interesting drive and check-in to your
Hotel in Dambulla. Spend a relaxing afternoon. Overnight stay
Day 2
Morning drive to the medieval capital, Polonnaruwa. After sightseeing of the ancient city drive to Minneriya in the afternoon. Proceed on a Jeep Safari in the Minneriya National Park., reputed for its large herds of wild elephant. Return to your hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla for overnight stay.
Day 3
Drive to Habarana in morning for an exciting elephant back safari. Then drive to Aukana to see the magnificent 12M high, 5th century standing Buddha statue. Return to your hotel in Sigiriya or Dambulla and relax till evening. Overnight stay.
Day 4
Morning visit the1st century BC Rock Cave Temple of Dambulla. Proceed to Kandy en route visiting a Batik Factory and a Spice Garden in Matale. Arrive to the hill capital of Kandy and check-in to hotel. Afternoon city tour, visit the Dalada Maligawa - the Temple of the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Watch a Cultural Show and return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5
Late morning, drive along the scenic mountain road to Nuwara Eliya. You will visit a Tea Factory on the way. Check-in to you hotel in Nuwara Eliya. In the evening, drive to Hatton. Relax at the foot of the mountain of Sri Pada, Adam's Peak. Commence your climb along the pilgrim route up to its peak by about 11.00 pm. Arrive at the summit to watch the beautiful sunrise. Descend from the mountain and drive to Kataragama or Yala. Relax at your hotel in the afternoon. Overnight stay.
Day 6
Morning visit the ancient Hindu Shrine in Kataragama. Return to your hotel. In the afternoon you will go on a jeep safari of the Yala National Park. On completion, return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7
Depart from your hotel in the morning and proceed along the coastal road. Stop at Galle to have a look at the interesting old dutch fort. In the afternoon, you continue your drive and arrive at your beach resort.
